Reopening High Streets Safely

Today, we are delighted to launch East Devon District Council's #StayLocalShopSafe campaign which encourages East Devon residents to rediscover our high streets and support local businesses, now that lockdown restrictions are lifting.

In East Devon, the Reopening of the High Streets programme is supporting a district wide media campaign, #StayLocalShopSafe. The campaign informs residents and visitors about using their high streets and town centres safely and showcasing how local businesses are responding to the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic by adapting, evolving and reaching out to their community, offering safe and responsive ways to access the goods and services that they need. Follow the campaign on social media #StayLocalShopSafe, watch the video and read more at eastdevon.gov.uk/staylocalshopsafe

Haircuts are on!

East Devon hairdressers, beauticians, shops, pubs and more are looking forward to welcoming customers back from today, 12th April.
