June 21st 2018 the residents of Ottery St Mary and West Hill went to the polls to vote for their very own Neighbourhood Plan.  The result was an absolute landslide in favour of it.  We now have a robust Neighbourhood Plan that will protect our town and villages until 2031.  It will give us a say right here at grass roots level to what happens and what development will be allowed.   East Devon will have to listen to us and to take note of the plan.  Well done to all those that turned out to vote.  It is your plan after all.

Thank you to all who contributed.  Thank you to the Neighbourhood Plan Working Group who have worked on this for well over three years.

Jo Talbot.  Chair of the Neighbourhood Plan Working Group.

A hard copy of the full Neighbourhood plan document can be viewed during normal office hours at the Ottery St Mary Town Council Offices in Broad Street or by appointment with the West Hill Parish Clerk.
