ROADWORKS + ROAD CLOSURE
West Hill Parish Council has been advised of the following road works affecting:
SECTIONS OF WEST HILL ROAD
Monday 20th – Tuesday 28th July 2026
Glendinning will be carrying out re-surfacing/patching works on behalf of DCC Highways:
Daily from 8.00am, weather permitting.
From junction at Mill Street/ Strawberry Lane to the B3180 Junction.
The works will be carried out in sections moving daily along the length.
We understand the works are scheduled to take place are:
Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd July minor works within West Hill itself. This should cause minimal disruption.
Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th July – machine patching works between West Hill and Ottery St Mary toward Ottery. We understand that a road closure will be in effect from 8.00am daily.
The contractor hopes to complete the works within 4 days.
During this period, National Grid, will also be working on West Hill Road.
We are awaiting details of the 44a Bus Service during this period. Please look out for further details.
