What are we doing?
West Hill Parish Council is providing a new pedestrian footpath from West Hill Road to make it quicker, easier and safer for many people to walk to the Village Hall and Primary School.
This requires some changes on West Hill Road including new parking restrictions (decided by Devon County Council earlier this year).
Our contractors will be:
- painting double yellow lines and SCHOOL CLEAR warning notice
- installing a guardrail opposite the new entrance
- moving the flashing School Warning device.
Two-way signals will be used to manage traffic, potentially causing delays. We apologise for any inconvenience.
