It is with great sadness that the Parish Council informs residents that West Hill's retired Postmistress Jane (Jane Margaret Down) passed away suddenly at home on 20th January 2024.
A funeral for Jane will be held in the Church of St Mary the Virgin, Mouse Hole Lane, Payhembury on Wednesday 28th February 2024 at 2pm. For more information, see Luxton Funeral Service website.
There can scarcely be a person in West Hill who didn't have contact with Jane at some point. She was always kind and cheerful and a pleasure to talk to.
The Parish Council sends condolences to Jane's family and friends.
